FROM THE PASTOR…
Greeting in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
No longer a vision…but a reality! PRAISE BE TO GOD!
God gave me the vision for this church many years ago, and I accepted the challenge along with the people of God, who had a mind to work, and we accomplished this great task. I went forward in obedience to God, for He promised me that if I took care of his business, He would take of mine.
There were obstacles and hindrances along the way, but we God first and as the scripture says “IF GOD BE FOR US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US” Romans 8:31, and “Because thou has made the Lord they habitation, there shall no evil befall thee for He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in thy ways” Psalm 91.
This is not my church, this is not our church…but it is God’s church. God has been faithful to New Jerusalem and we are blessed to have built this very beautiful edifice to accommodate and serve the needs of this community.
As I reflect back upon my past 35 years here at New Jerusalem, my heart is filled with joy and thanksgiving. I look forward with real expectancy that this year will be an exciting year of spiritual growth and achievements at New Jerusalem.
Please pray for us that we will continue to be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.
